THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this vital role, you will engage in direct clinical contact with residents, as well as maintain communication with families, community agencies, and the resident's assigned treatment team. Responsibilities will include conducting admission and annual assessments; offering direct support and resources to residents; and acting as a liaison for community providers, county representatives, and family members, ensuring the best outcomes for those served. You will utilize problem-solving skills to help individuals define problems and develop new coping skills. Additionally, you will provide social work consultation to other professional disciplines and collaborate with the treatment team.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Overtime and travel: As needed
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in social work or social welfare.
• Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

Other Requirements:

• This particular position also requires you to possess a valid driver's license which is not under suspension..

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
