Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab

Facility: Beverly & Addison Gilbert Hospital
Location: 85 Herrick St, Beverly, MA 01915
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift – 4x10-Hour Shifts (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Schedule: 40 hours/week with on-call required
Unit: Cardiovascular Suite – BEV (CC_2021_39091)

 

Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a travel contract at Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospitals. The role involves working day shifts, four 10-hour days per week, and includes on-call responsibilities (overnights and/or weekends based on department needs).

 

There are no set minimums or maximums for on-call shifts for travelers, but a typical schedule includes 2–3 overnight calls per week and/or 1–2 weekends per month. 

 

A 30-minute response time is required when on call.

 

Candidates must be proficient in balloon pump management and capable of taking STEMI calls .

 

Certifications Required:

• Active Massachusetts RN License (must be valid at time of submission)
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)

Experience Required:

• Cath Lab RN experience required
• Interventional radiology experience preferred
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficient in Cath Lab procedures and recovery
• Comfortable with balloon pumps and STEMI response
• Strong critical thinking in cardiovascular settings
• Ability to respond quickly for on-call within 30 minutes
• Familiarity with EPIC is a plus

• On-call Requirements: Yes — Overnight and weekends; 30-minute response time
• Local Radius Rule: Locals not accepted
• Return Policy: Cannot have worked at any Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) facility in any capacity (perm, travel, or PRN) within the past 6 months
• Scrub Color: Not specified
• Flu Vaccine: Mandatory for new staff starting 9/2 (no declinations accepted)
