Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Call:

• 10 On-Call Days per Month
• 4–6 Late Stay Days per Month

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a qualified Cath Lab RN for a 13-week contract assignment at the Muskogee Campus in Muskogee, Oklahoma. This role involves assisting with a variety of interventional cardiovascular procedures in a collaborative, fast-paced procedural environment. Candidates must be able to meet on-call requirements and respond within 30 minutes when called in.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and assist with moderate sedation
• Ensure strict adherence to sterile technique and radiation safety protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other nursing staff throughout procedures
• Participate in rotating call schedule and stay late as needed for procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and EMR charting

Required Qualifications:

• Active Oklahoma RN license or compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficient in interpreting hemodynamic data and managing critical situations
• Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with both diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Familiarity with STEMI protocols and emergency interventions
• Prior experience with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems
• Travel nursing or prior contract experience preferred
