Job Title: MRI Technologist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Technologist to join our healthcare team. This full-time position consists of 40 hours per week for the first two weeks, followed by a solo weekend shift starting September 6-7. The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology and must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or willing to obtain certification post-employment. Candidates with experience operating GE or Siemens MRI scanners are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI machines efficiently to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients for scanning procedures, ensuring they are comfortable and informed.
• Coordinate with patients’ physicians to facilitate timely delivery of imaging results.
• Maintain a clean and safe radiology facility, adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Document all imaging procedures accurately while ensuring the confidentiality of patient information.
• Provide compassionate patient care throughout the scanning process.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two (2) years of MRI technologist experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Experience with all non-contrast exams, routine musculoskeletal (MSK), neuro, spine, and occasional body MRI is essential.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is a must, and the ability to stand for extended periods is necessary.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including day and evening shifts, to accommodate orientation needs.
