Job Description

What We’re Looking For (Must-Haves):

• Hands-on Tool & Die Maker (NOT a manager role)
• Plastic Injection Molding OR Die Cast experience (stamping is not a fit)
• Ability to handwork and fit tooling with tight tolerances (±.001")
• Experience with tool maintenance, repair, and new build support
• Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and willingness to mentor apprentices

Journeyman card strongly preferred

What You’ll Do:

• Support production tooling – maintenance, breakdowns, cleaning, welding repairs
• Build and fit new tooling – setups for new tools, backfill production support
• Collaborate with team – 50% new tools, 50% repair (can flex up to 70% repair)
• Problem solve creatively – variety of small tooling, new challenges daily
• Manual grinding & hand fitting – ensuring high-quality fixes
• Mentor apprentices – share knowledge and support growth

Tools & Technology We Use (Can Train If Needed):

• Vertical mills & lathes – CNC (2D, 2-axis)
• CAD/CAM systems – Solidworks, Powermill (Creo used by designers)
• EDM – used for burning (not wiring) Preferred Qualifications:
• Journeyman card (highly valued)
• CAD/CAM software experience
• EDM machine familiarity
