Job Description

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Plastic Division Supervisor to join their team. This position is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity. As a Plastic Division Supervisor, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and effective planning capabilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Plastic Division Supervisor (DIRECT HIRE)
Location: Rutland, VT
Pay Range: $47,000 - $52,000
Hours: 1st Shift - 7am-3pm (flexible)

What's the Job?

• Ensure that the Plastics division meets or exceeds metrics for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and culture.
• Review daily production schedules to plan work and personnel assignments effectively.
• Supervise and direct personnel in performing operations according to sound operating principles and company policies.
• Coordinate workflow and develop teamwork to attain shift and department objectives.
• Conduct training for new hires, including safety policies and procedures.

What's Needed?

• Supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with injection molding and extrusion processes.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and inventory control is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to achieve results through others.
• Strong analytical skills and mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and implementing improvement plans.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and a valid driver's license.
