Position Overview

SchoolHouse Staffing is hiring a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to serve in a district-wide role supporting K12 students across schools in Glendale, Arizona. This is a school-based position designed for a professional who thrives in collaborative environments, enjoys variety, and is committed to equitable, student-centered therapy services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations, assessments, and interventions in accordance with IEPs and Arizona state guidelines
• Deliver direct and consultative services to students across multiple school sites (K12)
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
• Develop and implement therapy plans focused on fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-regulation, adaptive behavior, and daily living tasks.
• Train school staff and support teams on accommodations and strategies that promote student independence.
• Maintain accurate records, collect data, and ensure compliance with IDEA and district policies.
• Travel between school sites within the district (mileage reimbursement provided)

Minimum Qualifications

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Current Arizona OT License (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Experience working with children or adolescents in school-based or pediatric settings
• Knowledge of IEP processes, assistive technology, and sensory-motor development

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of school-based OT experience
• Familiarity with special education programs, MTSS, and inclusive practices
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work across interdisciplinary teams
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
