Job Summary
We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Low Voltage Technician to join our field team. This role involves installing CAT6 network cabling, mounting TVs, setting up office audio systems, and installing CCTV security systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable in active work environments, and capable of completing projects independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
· Install and terminate CAT6 network cabling in commercial and residential settings.
*** 75% Commercial, 25% Residential job sites.
*** 80% Drop ceiling, 15% attic space, 5% warehouse environments
· Perform job site cleanup and ensure a professional finish on all installs.
· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site.
· Follow safety standards and local codes.
· Communicate clearly with team members and clients.
Requirements
*** Must have valid driver's license with clean history for last two years
· Proven experience in low voltage installation (CAT6, AV, CCTV, etc.).
· Familiarity with tools and testing equipment for cabling and electronics.
· Ability to read blueprints and building plans.
· Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in ceiling spaces.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in active job site conditions.
· Must be authorized to work in the US.
Preferred Qualifications
· OSHA 10/30 or other safety certifications.
· Experience with CAT6, CCTV, installations a plus.
