Revolution Systems has an immediate open position for a permanent full time low voltage technician position with benefits. Job includes commercial surveillance/intercom and technology in residential high end homes.

Applicant should have a minimum of 1 year on the job experience in a technical systems installation position.

 

Job Duties to include;

• Ability to work on general low voltage and technology systems and understand basic concepts of those systems; voltage, IP networking, audio, video, control, etc...
• Running cable, terminating wires, installing, testing, and programming equipment for IT networking, security systems, surveillance, control systems, whole house audio, and home theater.
• Analog and IP surveillance cameras, DVRs, NVRs.
• Must be able to interface with customers in a professional and clear manner per requirements of job supervisor.
• Self manage small projects, service work, and daily job duties.
• Mount TVs, cameras, monitors, racks, security detectors.

Job Requirements;

• Minimum of 1 year on the job experience in a technology systems installation position.
• Ability to work in commercial and residential job sites.
• Ability to work standard commercial hours - 8am to 5pm, some longer hours or days occasionally required.
• Some heavy lifting, ability to work on a ladder, some outside work, and ability to work with power and hand tools required.
• We are based in the Twin Cities, many job sites are in and around the metro area, where employees drive directly to job sites. Some out of town work required, including overnight out of town stays. Out of town work will include per diem pay per company policy.
• Ability to work longer than 8 hours a day when work load requires. Overtime will be paid per company policy and Minnesota state law.
• Occasional weekend and evening work required. There is often advance notice of this type of work to allow for planning of schedules.

Company vehicles are provided after probationary period, in the mean time applicants should have their own vehicle to get to the job site in the twin cities metro area. Pay is dependent on experience. PLT license is a plus but not required to start the position.

We are a small fast paced custom installation company where a motivated technical installer will have the opportunity to learn a broad range of technical skills and progress in their career quickly.
