Are you a compassionate and caring individual seeking a rewarding career? We are looking for dedicated, professional caregivers to support individuals with severe and persistent mental health needs. This role involves providing a safe, structured, and nurturing environment while promoting independence and dignity for our clients.
Most clients perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) independently but may require occasional assistance. Your responsibilities will include medication management, meal preparation, light housekeeping, appointment scheduling, charting, and utilizing basic computer skills. The ideal candidate is patient, fair, consistent, and approachable, with excellent communication skills.
This position offers the satisfaction of helping individuals who cannot always fully help themselves.

Shift:
• Thursday 7:00 PM through Sunday 7:00 PM

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of caregiving experience.
• Clear criminal background check.
• No substantiated cases of abuse.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions effectively.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in medication administration and management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and manage medications.
• Provide aid with ADLs if needed.
• Prepare and cook three meals daily.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Document client progress and report unusual incidents.
• Respond quickly and responsibly to emergencies.

Essential Skills and Attributes:
• Proven caregiving experience.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures and first aid (CPR certification preferred).
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment
• Commitment to health and safety standards.
• Ability to deescalate situations
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High ethical standards.
• Physical endurance and ability to perform caregiving tasks.
