Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Help with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes to healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
• Uphold resident rights and ensure dignity is maintained at all times.
• Offer specialized care for individuals with dementia or disabilities, adapting approaches as needed.

Qualifications

• Certification in CPR is preferred.
• Experience in medication administration is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in caregiving or working in a nursing home setting is an asset.
• Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for clients effectively.
• Familiarity with caring for individuals with autism or other disabilities is beneficial.
• Strong ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by client needs.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of those you care for.
