This Lab Technician will join a high-tech, newly built laboratory. This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates with a science background and some lab experience. This lab tests fire sprinklers, firefighting foams, antifreeze solutions, and dry chemical agents to help building owners and/or their designated representatives fulfill various laboratory requirements in inspection, testing, and maintenance (ITM) standards. The laboratory technician to be responsible for testing and reporting results on the numerous tests completed on firefighting foam, antifreeze solutions, dry chemical agents, and fire sprinklers. This job will consist of a variety of duties throughout the week, rotating between testing within the foam and fire sprinkler labs. The laboratory technician may also occasionally be asked to complete various internal research tasks either on their own or in a group.
