Join to apply for the Business Development - Senior Manager role at Verizon Overview Verizon is seeking a Senior Manager in Business Development to lead and execute strategic activities including M&A, deal valuation, and integration of assets to enhance the network footprint and market position. What You’ll Be Doing Value, develop deal constructs, and acquire assets or equity of operating wireless companies to supplement Verizon's network footprint Value and acquire the interests of equity partners in multiple markets Acquire and rationalize new wireless spectrum on the secondary market and value other network-related assets to advance Verizon in the marketplace Lead multi-functional integration teams to integrate acquired assets Prepare detailed valuation models using large network data sets to support acquisition activity Prepare decision-support materials including market research and insights for senior executives or board reviews for major negotiations Negotiate with spectrum licensees, operating company executives, or equity partners Collaborate with other Business Development managers on projects including financial analysis, due diligence, and regulatory research Manage acquisitions from concept through negotiation, signing, and integration Prepare and manage diligence request lists for target entities Lead various integration efforts including network asset integrations and customer transitions Manage cost controls related to TSA activities Develop detailed work plans, schedules, resource plans, and status reports Monitor concurrent projects and anticipate risk Support other analysis and activities as needed What We’re Looking For You bring new meaning to business development with market insight, lead generation, analytical thinking, technical savvy, and strong communication. You work well with others, meet revenue goals, and are a constant learner with a broad perspective that makes complex topics easy to understand. You’ll Need To Have Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience Six or more years of relevant experience Experience marketing or selling complex technical solutions Even better if you have CFA or CPA designation Master’s degree (MBA preferred) Experience with wireless industry, M&A, and post-M&A integrations Experience selling and managing large, complex engagements with multiple partners, ideally including c-suite Experience forging partner relationships and agreements Executive presence and influence skills If Verizon and this role sound like a fit, apply even if you don’t meet every listed qualification.
