The Opportunity As our Account Director, you’ll be the trusted advisor and strategic partner for key accounts, driving growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term value. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, you’ll collaborate with senior executives, leverage cutting-edge technology, and mobilize resources across our global business. How You’ll Make an Impact Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for strategic accounts. Develop and execute account growth strategies to maximize share of customer spend. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver tailored value propositions. Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior client executives. Drive order growth and achieve or exceed sales targets. Resolve complex customer issues and ensure seamless collaboration. Align internal resources and business units to meet client needs. Represent Hitachi Energy with the highest standards of ethics and integrity. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Your Background Bachelor’s degree in a technical (engineering) or business-related discipline required. 12+ years of account management experience preferred. 5+ years of experience working with data center or hyperscale clients. Proven ability to work in a matrixed, cross-functional team environment. Demonstrated experience in sales, relationship building, and problem resolution. Strong business acumen and ability to influence stakeholders. Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
